The Mustangs Middle School Boys Basketball team started in 2015 when the Carolina Mustangs Athletics Program decided to expand from volleyball and add basketball. The team started with just 5 true middle school athletes and 2 elementary age athletes. The Mustangs played 11 games in their first season.

 

The Mustangs welcome Whitney Wellons as head coach for the 2018-19 season.  She comes to us with years of experience as head coach from another homeschool team. The Mustangs MSB are excited to compete in their first full season in 2018 - 2019.

 

The Mustangs MSB team provides a fun and competitive sports experience, focused on fundamental skills, and promoting teamwork for boys ages 10-14. The season runs from November thru March, and practices are held 2-3 times a week. We travel to compete against homeschool teams, public, private, and charter schools within a 45 minute radius of Durham.
