middle school VOlleybalL

The Carolina Mustangs volleyball program was started in 2015 with the intention of filling two smalls teams, but the season started with enough girls to fill Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams.

The Mustangs volleyball program is a highly competitive program for MS-Varsity girls. The season runs from August through October with an average of 18-20 games for the Middle School team. The MS team practices 2-3 times per week. We compete against charter schools, private schools, Christian schools, homeschool teams, and some public schools, all within a 45-50 mile radius of Durham, NC.

The Middle School team had several returning players from the previous year, but still dealt with being a young, and inexperienced team. The girls worked hard all year to improve skills, learn about team concepts, and to implement increased mental growth. There were games against many experienced teams, and our girls not only held their own, but even won a few of those games. The love of volleyball has been building and burns strong and bright in the hearts of our Middle School girls, and it highlights the fact that the Mustangs program has the potential for strength for many years to come.
