The Mustangs Junior Varsity Girls Basketball team started in 2015 as a sister team to the Carolina Mustangs Varsity Girls team. The original JV team, consisted of the 7 underclassman girls from the varsity team. As the Mustangs organization grows, the vision is to have a completely separate JV team.

The Mustangs JV team provides a competitive sports experience, skill development for young players, and focus on teamwork, for girls ages 14-17. The season runs from November thru March, and practices are held 2-3 times a week. We travel to compete against homeschool teams, public, private, and charter schools within a 45 minute radius of Durham.

In two seasons of competition, the JV Mustangs have played 5 games, and have a prefect 5-0 record! They are looking to extend their winning streak in the 2018 - 2019 season.
